Sacred Skeptics

What if C.S. Lewis and Jon Stewart had a love child? We like to think of our podcast as an attempt to embody the best that these men have to offer: uncommon insight and stinging wit. We engage current events, cultural issues and answer spiritual questions. If you don’t like sarcasm, this isn’t the podcast for you. New episodes drop every Wednesday and Thursday. Pastors Rick Henderson and Mike Bell begin with the quote of the week, which comes from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German religious leader and theologian who became a spy and anti-Nazi dissident before his execution by hanging shortly before the end of World War II in 1945. He said, "Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice." In other words, when Christians choose prejudgment over education and facts, the truth becomes too easy to set aside.
